Monster High Inspired Cake

Dora is a little girl who loves "Monster High"

She wanted a three tire cake for her birthday party

Monster high is a show about high-school girls who love fashion.
Some of them are vampires and some other wolfmen.

All of the tires were unique, with different tastes and flavors.

Happy birthday Dora!

That's my first attempt to make a free hand embroidery / stitchery ...

It feels really like drawing and I think I found my new obsession... : )

The Green Ninja Monster

After [Myrto's present], I've made another one for her older brother Manolis

This little guy adores monsters and his favorite hero is the green Ninjago {you know... the cartoon with the Lego toys... ;) }
So, I designed him something that combines all of his favorite things

It's got a ninja's mask and three "monsturious" eyes,

little creepy teeth

and of course our favorite weapon: ninja's stars!

I really had a great time making this project!
I hope he likes his new friend :)

Super Easy "Boo" Cupcakes

Happy Halloween! Yesterday I made these "super" easy-to-do cupcakes, using only three ingredients and creepy decoration! Here is my how-to and I hope you'll like it  ^.^

For the cupcakes we need:

1 cup Nutella  (I used Merenda)
2 (whole) eggs
10 tablespoons of self-raising flour

For the decoration we need:

1 cup creepy-green frosting
1/2 cup melted chocolate

1. Whisk the chocolate praline with the eggs for about 3 minutes

2. Add the flour spoon by spoon, while keep on whisking

3. Put liners or butter in the cups, fill them with the mixture and bake them for about 10 to 15 minutes at 170C / 340F

4. Melt some chocolate in bain-marie or microwaves and pipe some "Boo" on wax paper (don't forget to add a little line in the middle, which will be used as "nail" to "peg" them on the cupcakes) and let them in the fridge for about an hour

5. Whisk 200ml cream (I used half and half) or your favorite frosting and add green food colour

6. Cover cupcakes with frosting, using a spatula

7. When the chocolate toppers are ready put them on the cupcakes
